Project Brief:
iHeartRadio wants to develop a product strategy for their mobile app for the North American market. Their current revenue model is advertising-based, focusing specifically on strategic banner placements in-app and on the web, as well as through live radio mentions. iHeartRadio’s executive team knows they are losing market share to the competition and are no longer attracting the highly valued younger demographic.
In order to increase retention and attract the youth, the client is prepared to make radical changes to their mobile app. iHeartRadio delivers multiple categories of music content (music streaming, digital radio, podcasts, playlists, etc.) but live radio should remain their primary source of revenue.
